Does This Make Me A Professional?I'm now a published photographer—in Motoring & Leisure Magazine. No, not the cover image you see here, but a small stock photo of a road sign. Someone on the staff found the image in my flickr photostream and asked if they could use it for their letters-to-the-editor page—something about bicyclists and drivers sharing the road. I didn't get any money, but I got a photo credit in an honest to goodness magazine (and a free copy of the magazine). In related news, I recently discovered that you can quickly find websites that use your images by searching technorati—and in fact, I found several that have used my images. All without explicit permission, but all gave credit and that's all that's required under the Creative Commons license.
