MeltdownDry, But ConvincingAn enjoyable read this was not. Informative, certainly. The author endlessly dissects example after example of the exaggeration and distortion of climage change both in the media and in the scientific community. Eventually, it's gets pretty monotonous and I had to skip ahead to the end where the main thesis of the book is presented (not the best place for it).
If you're looking for plenty of evidence to help deal with your fear-mongering tree huggin' friends, then this book is for you. If you're looking for an engaging read (that also credibly questions the global warming hype), then check out Plows, Plagues and Petroleum (which I blogged about here).
