Little Miss SunshineLittle Miss SunshineBest movie I've seen since V for Vendetta, and the best comedy I've seen in I don't know how long. A truly rare movie. When I saw it at Tower Theatre, the entire audience laughed almost thoughout the film. The characters are genuine, their problems, while a bit outlandish (it's a comedy after all), seem to hit home as the sorts of things we all deal with at one time or another. And at the end of the movie, you just feel great. It has a warm-hearted message without being preachy or sappy. Go see the sleeper hit of the summer.

Two thumbs up from Paso Robles. We drove to the Palm in San Luis Obispo for the 7:00 PM showing tonight, entirely on your recommendation. We were amazed to find ourselves not just laughing, but over and over again applauding with the entire audience. A pause button would have been very useful. The Palm, as I think you know, has screens the size of large format TVs, but it didn't matter. Five minutes into the film and we were hooked. More laughs per hour than any movie we can remember. Not just funny scenes, but real laughs. As for the warm hearted message at the end, I think it was two parts family values to one part "fuck 'em". A really interesting message. Thanks for the tip.
