If the Oscars don't actually start until 8pm, why are the stars arrving at 3:30? I understand why the reporters and commentators are out so early--they have celebrity obsessed fans to satiate and airwaves to fill. But what do the stars actually do for the rest of the evening? Will they skip out for dinner? Is it a sign of desperation if you show up to a party four and half hours early? What's my excuse, you ask? Well I'm just enjoying a lazy rainy Sunday afternoon at home. As evidence that I'm not one of celebrity obsessed ones, I haven't even seen any of the movies this year. I will, but I typically wait for the DVDs. Strange as it seems, it's actually cheaper that way.
