The [Ohio Senate candidate] is causing some controversy with one of his beliefs. He tells News 11 homosexuality should be a felony, punishable by death. "Just like we have laws against murder, we have laws against stealing, we have laws against taking drugs --we should have laws against immoral conduct," Keiser says.
Granted, the news blurb doesn't mention religion, but call me crazy, I'd guess these beliefs aren't the result of years of rational discourse and critical thinking.

We usually differ on religion, but not very often on stupidity. I'm wondering, would the execution of gays under such laws as he proposes qualify as hate crimes? It seems to me that he is playing a rather dangerous game, remembering that Hitler got rid of both homosexuals AND morons.
