Fun With MathMy brother sent me this little math task. Whip out your trusty calculator (does anyone still do math by hand?). Take the first three digits of your phone number (not the area code). Multiply by 80. Add 1. Multiply by 250. Now add the last for digits of your phone number (i.e. + 3682). Add the last four digits of your phone number again. Subtract 250. And finally, divide by 2. Recognize the number? Ahh, the simple pleasures of math.
