Applied Biosystems 4000 QTRAPAt the biotech company where I run mass spec R&D, we just got a new mass spectrometer. Specifically, we got a new Applied Biosystems 4000 QTRAP, one of the best mass specs on the market (at $430,000, it better be one of the best). It arrived on Monday, but we had to wait for a service engineer to come uncrate it and set it up in our lab. It's like Christmas in March and the excitement has been killing me.
