What is wrong with this guy? Has he no sense of timing? Now I know he's entitled to the presumption of innocence until proven guilty, but just maybe this isn't the right time to be hosting a children's Christmas party.

Christmas came early for some 200 children who got to play at Michael Jackson's amusement park and meet Santa Claus.

"I hope you have a wonderful day. Merry Christmas. I love you," the pop singer called out to the children Friday from the driveway of his estate.

Jackson, who faces trial next year on child molestation charges, appeared happy during the few minutes he spoke to the arriving throng.

But, I guess we already knew--innocent or guilty--Jackson's a whack-job. What I really wonder is who the heck are these parents who let their children anywhere near this man. Even if he's innocent, he's being accused of molesting children--and this isn't the first time. Again, maybe he's innocent, but come on--can they not find some other way to celebrate the holiday besides sending their children off to spend the day with an accused molester?
